3rd centerpiece for a 125?

Hey everyone, we're looking for a possible 3rd, reef safe centerpiece fish for our 125. We thought about a bellus angel, or bimac anthias, but both options aren't looking good.

With anthias, we're afraid of not being home enough to feed them the amount they supposedly need. My wife loves the color though.

So, any recommendations for a larger, reef/invert safe fish we could add? Or any suggestions really? Current stock is:

1 spot foxface
Clown pair
Mellanaurus wrasse
Mccosker flasher wrasse
Fairy wrasse
2 blue chromi
2 Bangai cardinals
1 yellow assessor
1 firefish
1 yellow watchman goby
1 white lined combtooth blenny
1 royal gramma
3 skunk cleaner shrimp
1 fire shrimp
Hermits and snails

Anthias plus an auto-feeder. 4/4 anthias give this solution 2 fins up!

Well… I would’ve said a large wrasse like Halichoeres chloropterus but you have other wrasses in there that are peaceful. Possibly a rarer wrasse that is slightly aggressive but have a similar body shape as Macropharyngodon wrasses do, such as Xenojulis margaritaceus or Halichoeres lapillus.

if you want an Angel then go for a medium sized one from chaetodontoplus. I.E. The scribbled angelfish (Chaetodontoplus duboulayi) or The singapore angelfish (Chaetodontoplus mesoleucus).

Gold flake angel don't know how the PBT will react though my PBT is rather chill with new additions mirror up for half a day then he/she is fine its my lemonpeel angel that is aggressive with new additions

Even though angels make wonderful centrepiece fish . They are not reef safe .

even some of the dwarf angelfish that are said to be reef safe can and more often turn rogue on corals eventually .

that being said ….
for a smaller fish …. A flame hawk fish ( also said to be aggressive towards blennies but I haven’t had any issues with them .

No fish is going to be 100% reef safe - even a tang isn’t going to be totally reef safe. Escenius Blennies especially aren’t reef safe around SPS colonies.
