So guys this is my 55 gallon tank I added the dry rock 3 weeks ago and added one Fiji live rock about 2 weeks ago my nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia are still all detectable. Is this still mean the cycling process is going? I’ve been ghost feeding as well. Not much has happened thoughts?

Has the ammonia reading changed at all. If so then the cycle is still going.

I posted this thread because it has awesome info about the cycle.

It has changed a tiny bit I will be testing again tomorrow thank you will be checking that out!

The easiest surefire way to tell if your tank is cycled is to buy Dr Tim’s ammonium chloride ($5) and dose to 2ppm ammonia. Awesome setup btw : )

Ghost feeding is iffy because you have to wait for it to decompose to produce ammonia and even then you have to hope you added a proper amount (enough but not too much that it produces more than 5ppm ammonia else cycle will stall).
