4/20/19 FRAG Meeting Status?

Here's where things stand:

1. Finally heard back from Deep Blue just within this hour. That's an option but not until after the store closes at 6PM.
2. We have a space we could use on the complete opposite side of town near the 60/202.
3. There is the Peoria library option presented as well.

My thoughts at this point - It's already a holiday weekend. I hate to push the time into the evening hours, and I hate to move the location to someplace more than 50 miles away on short notice. I see either option as only reducing attendance.
The library could work, but that will eliminate any food/drink, and I'm not sure about bringing in frag containers either - but I'm willing to bet that would also be a problem. Therefore, I am not confident about the execution on option 3.
No one listed any corals for auction, so there's that too.

Leaning towards a cancellation at this point, but waiting for BoD consensus. I will update all notices and send out an email by this evening however, one way or another.

As far as the library goes...

• Yes, food and drink can brought in, but it has to stay in the multi-purpose room.
• Same goes for the frags.
• Since this is a 501(c)(3) organization, there would not be a room rental fee.
• A restaurant or an aquarium business of some sort sounds like more fun, but the library is an option.

Thanks for this clairity! If nothing else, we'll definitely keep this in mind for future meetings. We've historically struggled to find a good location on the west side.

I would love to volunteer to host this meeting, but my wife has nixed that idea since we have a few projects going on and the house is not ready for that, however I would definitely like to host in the future...
