As much as I want to go 3 radions or hydras for my new 180g no way I can drop that kind of cash. With 2 a360we that I'll be bringing over from my 120 I think my best route would be to pick up another 2. On the 120 I supplemented with 4x39 T5 but I think I'm going with just the LEDs this time to avoid needing a canopy. It's a eurobraced tank so I want to maintain that sleek, minimalist look.

So will 4 provide enough light for a mixed reef setup?

Four would work for a mixed reef. Could always add more down the road if you wanted higher light demanding corals.

That’s like how I ended up with 4 160’s and a 360 on my 92g. I think 4 would be fine, once setup and going for a while you will know for sure if you would need another.

Agreed. I can't see why they wouldn't work for a mixed reef. You might consider adding a couple or four T5's to reduce shadowing and fill in.

I would like that but I don't really want a canopy to house them. The Aquatic life hybrid t5 fixtures look nice but only 60" and I want it to span the full 72".
