Ok so I have 4 clowns in my cycled 150. Ammonia 0 nitrites 0, nitrates are around 20.

What fish should I try next? I am going to make it a reef tank so I'm trying to carefully select everything that goes in the tank. I think it's too early for a tang, clean up crew is coming on Friday.....

I'm open to suggestions!

And before we start my clown fish are happy and have pairs with homes on separate sides of my tank.

After my clowns I brought in a hippo tank and a kole tang.

Might i suggest a reef safe wrasse? I have a yellow coris wrasse and it is vibrant and very active. Provides a lot of movement and life in the tank.

One of my clowns seem to be twitching. Anyone have any advice

Do you have two clowns? If one is twitching in front of the other it's usually a submission move to show subservience to the dominant female.

It does seem to be the smaller one twitching.

I wouldn't worry. They are establishing dominance. The larger will likely transition into a female if it hasn't already. That's a good thing :)

Okay thank you. Can you tell me something else. I have two clowns and two pj's and one yellow tang. I want my tank to have mostly corals eventually. I would like a peppermint shrimp and a royal gamma. Which should i add first. I already lost a royal gamma to two blennies. I don't want to lose another one. The blennies are gone.

How big is your tank? Do you know why the royal gramma and blennys died? In general i would add the gramma last of all. they can be aggressive to new additions, though i dont think that includes shrimp it never hurts to be careful.

If I did that I did not know what I am doing. I'm sorry I will try to learn more before I post again. Sorey

Get one big Ritteri anemone for the clowns they don't move much and the clownf will hold that and get some ànthias tangs wrasses Angels butterfly's

I would wait to add tangs until the tank is more established and there is some natural algae for them to graze on, this will help them acclimate better. Just remember to go slow and allow the tank to adjust to new livestock before adding more. I would try to pick out the peaceful and or small fish you want to add first to allow them to get comfortable before adding larger tank mates. Cardinals, dartfish, gobies, blennys are all great choices to liven up the tank. But really, it's more what you like, you might have better luck posting some fish you found that you like to see if they are compatible and or easy to keep. I don't really like recommending specific fish to purchase but i can give you advice on any that you may be interested in.
