65gal DT, 20gal sump.

Been cycling for a few weeks with ammonia and Dr. Tim's One and only.

Last 3 times I added ammonia, I added enough to get the tank to 4ppm, and every time 48hrs later ammonia and nitrites were back at 0. Last time nitrites were at 0, nitrate test showed 50ppm.

Is it safe to do a large water change and add 2 clownfish?

Thanks!!

Sounds like it
Welcome :)

How long have you been cycling for? No need to dose any new ammonia do a large WC and your ready if you have surpassed the number # of days

Any day from now complete a WC and you will be right and ready to add. Easy to just start with CUC then go from there.

Thanks for the replies! Picked up "Michael Bolton" (little guy was being an "a**" to the other one at first) and "Joana" this weekend and things are going well! Ammonia and Nitrites staying at 0.
