Hey Everyone hope everything is going good. Excuse some of my terminology this is my first tank and I'm only about 3 weeks into my cycle.
I have scanned the posts to see if anyone has asked this question before with no luck.
So I have a Neptune apex the newer one with all the probes
I was trying to install 4 Neptune wav powerheads on my tank one on each side and 2 in back on each side.
I was planning on using the one link to power 3 of them and the energy bar for the 4th one
When I install the two side ones into the one link and program it everything works fine
When I try to plug in the third one into the apex and go to task and set up the 3rd one the two side pumps are the only ones that will show up as
options to be selected and one of them will have a caution symbol next to it saying make sure its plugged in
I have tried taking the 3rd one out of the 1 link and install into energy bar and tried installing 3 of them without the 1 link just into the energy bar same thing every time
I have all of the firmware up to date on everything
One think I did notice I thought was weird was when I plugged in the 3rd powerhead it started working without setting it up in the apex
Any ideas I appreciate it everybody ;)

@SuncrestReef knows much about the Apex. Sounds like maybe the outlet you were plugging the 3rd WAV into might need to be configured for power head?

Is the 3rd WAV the same one you tried each time, or did you attempt plugging in the 4th one instead? I’m just wondering if that 3rd one is defective. What happens if you disconnect the first two and then try only the 3rd one?

The ports you plug into - whether on the 1Link module or the EB832 - should not make any difference.

So I tried this again I did get 3 to work and when I went to plug in the 4 th one and start setting it up it didn’t show it as a option it went back to the first one that I connected and showed it disconnected but what’s weard is I was not able to set up the 4th one but it is running actually all 4 at running lol
So to get the 3rd one to show up as a option to be set up I just kept on doing software update then randomly it popped up
I have tried doing the same thing multiple time and the 1st wav I set up is now showing disconnected and apex keeps saying make sure it’s up to date and plugged in

I did try different waves each time when I plug into a different 1 link spot a different wav disconnects
