Soo I got a skunk cleaner shrimp today and my anthias keep going up to him/her to get cleaned and the shrimp wants no part of it... My luck Is this normal? The anthias is like CLEAN ME skunk is like w/e go away lol...

Ty my anthias is soo funny he swims away to come right back in the shrimps face and the shrimp just stays in one place this has been going on for about 5 hours now lol. Its amuzing<-- "probably spelled wrong im kinda buzzed" in itself.

Also note that in my old tank way back when, my cleaner shrimp used to ride my yellow tang like he was a horse it was helarious.

Thats is actually the swim bladder disease and is not good from what ive seen/read.

Soo my params are still staying stable

All minus the phospate which is really really high.
Switched to totally rodi water and i noticed the bottled water from wallmart is horrible. So im going back to the dollar store water...
Anywho i got a ton fo corals from the mtrc frag swap pics galore!!!!

Omg it took all of almost 3 hours to dip everything and acclimate it lol.
Ya i saved for 3 months for it hahah even all my change it ended up being 45$ in change.
The sunny d's are my favorite by far!

When im not sore as all get out i made a frag rack and plan on moving most to that minus the zoas which i plan on putting on the right side, all of them lol. Hope they grow into a mazzive rainbow of zoas.

I definetly spent several hours dipping, rinsing, placing frags in the tank and I only came back with 4. Haha. I did spend a lot of time acclimating the fish, inverts and clams as well.

I am sore as well and had to play in a softball doubleheader yesterday afternoon. I am beat!

My tank grows zoas like mad from.what I've seen so far. Ya hopefully I can recoup some of the cash or trade them lol. Problem is I only know the.names if a couple of them I wasn't paying attention dam ADHD LOL. I think the.names.are.stupid.neways just a way to make the coral higher priced. Especially with zoas and palys

Also, how do I get algae of the frag plugs that arent zoas--> I just dip them in peroxide, but I noticed today, and in the pictures that some of them are on the montis, and acan frags.

Sooo im going to do a experiment.
Plan on ordering a 120w led fixture this friday. Im going to put it on one side of my tank and my mh light on the other and will make another frag rack.
The goal is to see if they grow the same. I will be placing corals at the exact same location on both sides of the tank and they will be the exact same corals.
Will keep this updated the corals will be the same size/polyp count going to try it with my favia, one of my acros, and arios polyps.
Any advice to make it as spot on as can be is much appreciated!

Good experiment. Can't wait for the results. Will both tanks be plumbed into the same sump/system?
