I am looking to purchase a 40 gallon breeder. I am not too sure what to use for circulation.

Will (1) Tunze 6025 & (1) Koralia 2 be enough?

I don't think one 6025 will be enough so yes both of them together would do it.

Really depends on what you want and what rock structure you have. I have a three column rock structure in my 40Br, softy dominated tank... I use a MP10 on 75% power plus my AC500 on 100% power. Works for me but for most it will be a lil' under. To get a lot of the spots for a more complicated rock structure you may need more.

FYI...I use a Rio 2500 as my return and an MP20 on 80 percent power and an MP40 on 40 percent power in my 40 breeder (at opposite ends of the tank).

I have mine setup as a mixed reef, I have 2 MP20's running at 100% along with a couple hob pieces of equipment for filtration.

Thanks for the recommendations everybody. I didn't really take my rock work into consideration.

I have an MP40 on Reef Crest mode (100 % ) and a Koralia evo 1400 with SPS and a grip of LPS. Its a tasty combo but my fish all seem to hang out on the opposite side of the tank as the MP40 or in the cave underneath it, its cool though cuz I have yellow assessors so they chill upside down all day and my clown wont leave her RBTA unless we're at the tank.

I have a sumpless 40b and running one of the older model koralia#3's. Works just fine in my set-up but every tank is different.
