So I’ve been looking at my rock scape and it kind of looked like it was built pretty high where if coral was on it it would grow over the water level.

I’m wondering how much space I should leave from the top for coral to be able to grow on my rock.

Can you show us a pic?

That's going to depend on what type of coral you want to grow there ... If you're planning on mushrooms, zoanthids or Micromussa, you won't need too terribly much space. If you put a green slimer acro there, it'll reach the surface pretty quickly.

Could I just plan according to my rock scape. So I wouldn't put acros at the very top?
