40 Breeder took a blow...

When I was transferring the contents of my 40B to the 75g the edge took a small bump... I guess it was hit just right because it seemed like it was barely touched. Anyway... is this tank trashed? I'm concerned the seal is compromised...

I would throw some epoxy on there to take care of the remaining edge. Sealing is done from the inside though. Should be fine as long as you stabilize the area

I wouldn't trust it. You could sand the chip to prevent further cracking. Best to sell as a reptile tank imo. I don't think epoxy on the outside will do anything.

For what a standard 40 breeder costs I wouldn’t trust it.

Use as terrarium only... you can fill that chip with clear epoxy to get rid of the sharp edges, but I wouldn't trust it. You can still find 40B on $1/G sales at chain pet stores a lot of places. Not worth a blow out.

I wouldn't trust it either. Definitely not worth all the worrying when you can get a new one at a reasonable cost from PetCo.
