I think you need some monti cap in that tank. LOL
Looks nice!
:snicker: Thanks ...still in the process of adjusting the vortech so as not to create bare spots in the sand bed .damm thats alot of caps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the compliments Stun , the MJ mod on the back wall is for flow through out the Tonga live rock structure . I know it doesn't seem like there is alot of tonga branch rock in there , but there is. The hole structure is covered and now held together with the monti cap over grown on it , there are endless tunnels within that the fish swim in and out of still . It's setup old school for sure , no sump , no reactors ect ect . just live rock , powerheads , skimmer , UV and a HOB filter that is used to run carbon and floss . I don't dose for the caps , just a weekly four gallon water change to keep all params in check . Don't get me wrong , I like all the new high tech gizmos on the market , but old school is all I know and I'm an old reefer !Awesome, awesome, awesome aquarium!!!
I love the simplicity of the tank - really well done. One of the best I've seen on R2R, seriously! :xd:
Looks like you pulled a chunk of the natural reef out and tossed it in your tank, many people can take a BIG lesson from this tank - you don't gotta catch 'em all to have an amazing reef!
Great fish selection as well, I love your C. potteri
Is the last MJ in on the back-wall for a H.O.B. skimmer?
