Let the fun begin, fish less cycling process started with my new 40 gal breede that I will be using as a frag tank. Filtration will be completed with a Fiji cube system. Lighting is a 16” reefbreeders photon v2. Currently have some bio spheres and a marine pure block that is my my display tank to help with nitrigifaction, also added IO biosphera along with Dr. Tims ammonium chloride for the fish less cycling process. 2 or 3 fish once the cycling process is over

I will probably add a supplemental light bar later, my plan is to have all low ligh corals to one side and high par corals on the other based on the spread. The tank will be used to grow out frags for my personal tanks maybe to sell in the future

Fair enough. I picked up a nuvo 30l that I’m turning into a frag tank. It has a razor maxspec light which leaves both ends lower in the par level so I’ve put low light frags there. Hoping to get a meter soon to test the levels and have a better idea. Will be just to grow out smaller pieces for my personal tank.

Cycle complete, very happy with how fast this tank cycled, less than a week and a half

So Tuesday I took some live rock from my DT and placed in the frag tank, has maybe 3 corals on them. A spongode, candy cane, and a mushroom. They were some rocks that I wanted out for a while. Everything is doing well. Going to purchase some egg rate to start creating frag racks, also going to purchase a jebao Wavemaker to give more flow. The goal is a good amount of grow out corals next month and sps in 3 months
