40 gal half back hex w/ 10 gal sump HELP!!

I have been doing saltwater for about three months i lost alll my fish last week in my 72gal tank so i downsized to a 40gal with 10 gal sump and i need help to set up the sump. the sump has 4 chambers firsl where the water comes in the a larg open chamber where it is open then a small chamber with a corse spunge. then the return chamber i dont know how to set thhis up i want to do a refugium in the large chamber but i also want to put chemi pure in the filtration but dont know where or how to put anything. Please help!!! any ideas?

Hello and welcome to r2r :welcome: already posted in your other thread, but there should be plenty of folks who will be able to help you in figuring out how to setup your sump. Sorry about the fish that you lost, always is hard when that happens. Do you have any ideas of what the cause was?

thanks to both of ya and i think i had a nitrate spike while i was out for the day something may have died and i didnt catch it so i lost oll my fish other than one clown

Welcome. To get a good idea of how to setup the sump you should post a picture of it and we would be able to help. Sorry about the loss in the other tank. Hopefully we can get this one going and not have a loss again.
