40 gallon breeder 17 days in

So started with 40 pounds of live rock, 60 pounds of live sand. I am currently on my 17th day in and everything is normal. I have been adding microbactor7 as well as ghost feeding. Right now I have 4 snails and two hermits. My parameters are; PH8.2, salinity is 1.025, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 0, calcium 500, phosphate .25 and temp is 79. I've already had a ammonia spike in nitrite Spike. Should it be okay to add a few more cleanup crew?

I did have a green hair algea bloom but it is almost all gone as well as the live rock was from a established tank.

I would consider waiting on more clean up crew, let it establish a bit more so they have something to eat. Sometimes adding them too soon will cause them to starve and die off. Good looking rock work! Has some nice swim throughs.

Definitely no more CUC than you already have.

I'd pick one fish or one coral for your next introduction....sounds like anytime would be OK.

Once that coral or fish is in the tank, I'd wait a minimum of another 3-4 weeks before adding the next single coral or fish. Going forward, keep that spacing with everything you add.

And I wouldn't add any more than one or two critters at a time until the tank is considerably more mature. (One is better than two is most cases.)

Stress fracture from not being perfectly level. $2 shims could have prevented the whole thing. 65g had the same foot print size. So it will be up and running today. Mixing salt now!

Great tank! Did you do a water change after the cycle? You should be measuring some nitrates after a cycle. Is that live rock?

Thanks!!! I did do a water change, 15% my nitrates are still at 0. Yes it is all live rock, I didn't add any dry to it. I am running a Berlin red sea skimmer, sump sock, charcoal as well as a refugium.
