hello everyone. I have a 40 gallon breeder with some fish and a few soft and lps corals. would two hydor powerheads at 850 gph be too much flow for this tank? i currently have two hydor powerheads at 425 gph but do not feel they are providing enough flow. I just dont want to overdue it and potentially harm anything. Thank you

That seems reasonable, but there are some other things to consider like -- Do you have sand? What is your rockwork/aquascaping? etc. Good luck with whatever you decide!

I have a 40 breeder and that seems really strong. It depends on what you have in your tank. I bought a powerhead that was controllable and slowed down automatically at night.

It depends on what coral you want and how full your tank is. I started my 40 with a single small Jebao that moves about 1000gph and it was fine. 4 years later and a lot more coral growth and I have 4 power heads that are moving a combined 8000 gph and I could still use more flow.
