40 Gallon Breeder Side Panels. Tempered or Not?

Wondering if the Marineland 40 Gallon Breeder Tank has Tempered Side Panels or not. #10040 . Any one drill this particular tank? I know that the bottom panel is definitely tempered. I asked 2 different sales clerks at my LFS and they told me that the side panels are not tempered. I know....
I know...call the manufacturer , but im sure somebody on this forum has the definite answer.

I've seen this before, but who actually owns a LCD Monitor these days. Everything is LED. Lol

I was always told that it had to be a LCD Display for this method to work. Dont know if this is true or not.

It has been verified that you can drill the side panels on Marineland and Aqueon 40 gallon breeders. Only the bottom panel is tempered.
