since update 1 i have added my protein skimmer and my HOB filter with built in UV
with the hob it has a sponge then to trays of ceramic media no carbon.
my protein skimmer is relasing alot of micro bubbles into the tank but it has been only running two days so i guess its breaking in still
my refugium is gonna arrive this week to my suprise the seller is giving me a bigger one for no extra cost its only an extra 2 litres which will make it up to 7 litres guess its not a lot but every litre counts.
for lighting im using two 50w RGB floodlights defeintly not the best lighting i did See floodlight reef videos on youtube hope fully it will last until i can afford reef lights as they are far reach out my pocket.
for coral i wanna keep it soft and keep to beginner corals i did get some gsp in my current 15 gallon i have isolated it on a rock as it grows like weeds when the 40 is done im gonna change my 15 back into a freshwater tank
also i added salt and got it to 1.025 its been at that level for two days but as i added into the tank im best keeping an eye on it every day or two
