Some of you may know me from RC, but because of their childish mods and rediculous rules, i was kicked off! I bought this tank about 4 years ago and was going to start getting everything going, then we decided to start a family. Now 4 years later with 2 beautiful daughters, its time to get this tank running! The tank is 9' long x 30" tall and 30" wide and starphire glass!!!! I am posting this as we all like to learn and i am wanting to hear point of sale and neg feedback as i journey through this build. I have got some of the plumbing and and have the sump, but am going to start building one piece at a time until my build is complete. I am always looking to buy equipt, fish, corals and anything else that will help this build! I have about 40 frags right now that are growing out, but will prob need 540 more!!!! Thanks and enjoy!!!!
A couple years after my first daughter was born!!

Yes one Huge overflow! I plan on drilling it with 6 holes for my return, that way i can get coverage to all angles of the tank! My thought was using LocLine and splitting each one so i would actually have 12 returns back into the tank!

woah..is that the tank behind the bar?? just tempting you with its dry, empty look??

haha that this is gonna look spectacular when its finished!!

Yup thats the EMPTY tank!!! I have a 90 Gallon running in this room too which makes it KINDA ok its empty, because all of the corals that i have been picking up are in the 90 right now growing out!!!!

I should also add on here, i am not opposed to SPS corals, but this tank will be mostly LPS and Softie dominated. I will have SPS too, but DEF not a SPS dominated tank!!! I like the movement of LPS and Softies!!!!! So all in all it is going to be a mixed tank!!!

Picked up 2 Rainbow BTA for the big tank!! These are both splits from the same mother colony!!! Hopefully they will keep on splitting!!!

Temp Holding 90 Gallon Setup all is well with Corals and fish waiting to go into big tank!!! Got all the holes drilled and bulkheads installed, now i will be plumbing all the returns and drains, along with sump and frag tank etc!! Pics to follow!!!!! Will be ordering sand and 350 lbs Pukani dry rock as soon as plumbing is completed! Also will be running a seperate powerline with switched receptacles into the equiptment room!!! This is a major electrical/plumbing job so it might be a little bit before you see anything from me!!!

Should also note that i have been aquiring as many frags as i can find to go into the big tank and so far i have around 60 pieces with 2 Rainbow BTA and 1 Rose BTA!!! This is so awesome its a dream coming true finally!!!!

200 Lbs of BRS Reef Saver rock was ordered last night along with most of the plumbing fittings for overflows, returns etc.... Also ordered some nylon all thread so as soon as the rock gets here i am gonna start building some of the base of the future reef.

And previous pictures of the large rainbow bubble tip, it has already split!!! Awesome!!!!!
