I have a 400w halide I was using to grow veggies indoors and have now stopped. so now for the noob question how would it do and what would be the best supplement for blue lighting. Currently running 2 maxspect razors and a ocean revive so26 on the tank. Really new at using halides as a light I have had LEDs from the start. But from research I think the halide would be a better light am I wrong? Tank is also set up with SPs, LPs, and softies if possible I'd like to use the LEDs as the supplement but the razors don't get to bottom of the tank with good color have the 6 inches off water just to get 120 par so26 is hung almost 13in above water and at 60%it gives almost 280par at bottom of tank (love that led).. And if it is changed out how long would the halide need to be run? Sorry for all the questions just looking to get my noon brain working today.. Thanks everyone for baring through this
