In a few months I'll be setting up a 40b Figi cubes AIO drop in kit and was wondering if this build would work for a mixed reef tank.

return pump is a Sicce 1.5
skimmer is either WS-1 from Bulk Reef Supply or Mag Tool nano AIO from amazon
lights are Prism 2 from BRS x2
Jebao SCP-70M or a 90M gyre on the opposite side of the tank going against the return lines
2 BRS heaters with the Ink Bird
Mag Tool ATO

questions and comments greatly welcome.

I have a 40B with a sump, but I have two inkbird connected BRS heaters and the SCP-70 jebao. As long as that skimmer will fit in the AIO chamber you should be good. Just make sure to seal the AIO drop in well, Ive seen reviews where it can leak if you just "drop it" in. Slap some silicone on those edges.

Hi, I'm curious how you are liking your 40B with the drop in kit? I'm thinking of setting the same up in the next week or so but wondering if I should instead just get a hang on back filter like the Seachem Tidal 110. I'm torn and can't find good info on why one or the other.

Also, would you do anything different now if you could go back?
