So it's Petcos half off sale for tanks again so I swapped my 29 g tank into a 40b. After a brief scare of thinking the tank was cracked (Just a small string of silicone) and learning just how hard it is to move a giant carpet anemone it is up and running. Although I might lose my damsel it took a nasty sting from the nem when I was trying to capture the fish. I have dual orbit ic pro LED lights on the way and need to set up my other power head but here it is so far. ( I am so bad at aquascaping but I try )

Looking good. Always like the 40B. If I was limited on size, that would be my choice tank with the 18 inch width, with a 40B sump. :D

Thanks. Yeah I love the dimensions, I do have a 65g tank at the house with the same dimensions but the height is a problem for where I have it. I am simplest right now.

So a little update, the damsel survived and the Anemone is looking loads better after it picked a spot. I picked up a few more hermit crabs and a peppermint shrimp. I also picked up a tomini tang ( i know it's only a 40b and once it's full grown if I don't have a bigger tank I'll have to give it a new home) it was so skinny and there was no algae for it to pick at in the tanks at Petco I decided to try and give it's chance. The guy working there told me he has no idea about salt water fish so I informed him he should remove the 20 or so dead turbo snails. Any way here's some pics.

Thanks I'm hoping I don't see to much of an algea bloom with the 40 lbs of new sand and the new rock. I've got like 15 pounds of dry rock left but I wanted to leave allot of room on the left side of the tank for the Anemone.

Small update again the tang wouldn't eat I had seaweed on a clip in there and I tried to feed all 5 types of food I have which was a pita to net all uneaten food out. So at 2pm I checked the tank and it was belly up, it was so skinny from Petco I'm not sure if it was going to survive no matter what. Before I could net it and pull it out it floated into my carpet anemone which then pulled it in and ate it. On a positive note I picked up a Skimmer the Seaclone 100 by instant ocean. I did see all the bad reviews and such but I did see people who had success with it and for $50 at Petco I figured why not since some skim is better then none right.
