40B Kessil Mount Height

Hello, I plan on setting up a 40 breeder soon and am going to be using two kessil a160s for the lighting with the metal mounting arm. For anyone that has this same setup, what height do you have the lights above your tank? Thank you!!

While I don’t have the same setup, I do use kessils, I’d strongly suggest using a par meter to set your intensity and height fine tunings to get as even of coverage as possible. I would start at about 8” above water level, equally spaced from the ends, with the center most part slightly wider than 1/3 the tank width. and adjust from there
