Maybe overkill. May bleach corals.
I have a 6 bulb ATI over my tank and it is great! Mostly SPS and haven't had a bleaching issue.

There is 3 LEDs in the back part.
Timer on the LEDs 8am-9am & 7pm-8:45pm
Timer on 2XBlue+ 9am-7:40
Coral+ & True Actinic usually 12pm or 1pm- 5:30pm the most. After feeding.
I have run them before all day with the Blue+, but it is to much. All the corals are so healthy and being in the tank for only for month. The fire and ice zoanthids have grown onto the LR.
Just a heads up. I did 2 things to the light. Rub dip spray a chord hider. Hand stitched the black marine material around a rod and slid it down the chord hider to block the light from the room. It will not mold and is flame retardant. Also the holding brackets for the lights to lift up. It does not work over glass tops. The frame is to thin. The glass top for the tank when you go to lift it. It will hit the front arm. Took 2 3/4 piece cut 11" long. Sanded the wood down. Painted it with non toxic latex paint after wood gluing and nailing it together. It is all pretty seamless. When I lift the lights up. The material lays down on the Plexiglas so I can rest the glass flip up lid on it.
