40g breeder bean/animal plumbing....

I'm getting ready to plumb my 40g breeder that has the synergy reef 16" overflow. It is setup for a bean/animal system. My question is, what would be the best plumbing to buy and where or what site should I buy from? Or better yet, what exactly should I buy and where should I buy it from?

I used basic PVC from Home Depot with great success. I did buy my gate valves and specialty parts such as bulk heads, strainers, check valves, etc. from Marine Depot and BRS. Mainly because they offered higher quality which I felt was essential for those particular parts and I couldn't find them locally.
