40g breeder hydra 26 hd settings

Greeting reefers,

i have 40g breeder with hydra 26 hd on a redsea mount on the photo u can see my current setting i was wondering if this is okay or not i only have lps corals and notice little bit of coral growth tank is one year old

I would say you can bump that up but do it slowly. This is my setting on my breeder and everything is doing great. It’s called the Pirates of the Caribbean program. Par averages at about 170 upper portion of tank between my lights which are 3 AI Primes. Directly underneath towards the top it shoots up to mid 200 par

I agree with the statement above, I think you can increase the intensity a little bit.
I have one 26hd about 6 inches above the water on my 25 gallon. I never checked the PAR levels though. Here’s what it looks like:

This is essentially the AB+ schedule at a lower intensity.

I unintentionally created a cloud affect by enabling the weather feature, with several blocks of different intensities and probabilities.
