40G hanging off edge slightly

I have a 40G breeder I am setting up on an emergency basis and the tank stand provided just about fits the aquarium perfectly although either side equally hangs over slightly under 1/8''. Is this still safe to fill up?

Hard to be sure without seeing what type of stand, but its probably fine.

Playing it safe and bought a metal stand that fits it for right now I think the entire wooden stand is warped anyway;Facepalm

Warped could be worse than that small overhang for sure.
