Is it worth putting a skimmer on these tanks if i plan to do weekly water changes

I think it's really about your bioload for starters I have a45 Gallon to which I modified to have a sump and I added a. Skimmer to works fantastic

I went skimerless for a while and added a Tunze 9004 recently and I'll probably never go back. The amount of gross stinky stuff it pulls out is enough proof for me. Also, my filter floss is less gross between weekly changes. I also do a 4-5 gallon water change weekly. I would just buy a used one. Got mine for 80 bucks
