i posted earlier about picking up a couple of blue green chromis to add to my current stocking of 1 occelaris clown and blue green chromis who appear to be best buds. Some suggested chromis don’t always tolerate each other. Is it too late to add them? Any other stocking ideas? These two fish have lived peacefully lived together for 2.5 years.
Thoughts on a yellow or azure damsel? Or a dottyback? Gramma? Thanks guys!

Of the ones you listed, the gramma would be the best, imo. Either royal gramma (make sure you aren't getting a royal dottyback) or a blackcap basslet will work.

I love yellow tail and azure damsels, but with the clown and chromis in a 42, I probably would stay away from damsels.

An orchid (fridmani) dottyback will work.

A longnose or flame hawk would be a great fish.

A blenny, like a tailspot or midas would be great too.

Azure damsels are pretty mild, so one of those would work.

The above choices are good too.
