do i need to start qt all over if it went from .55 to .44 at some point because i added top off water? i noticed my mistake about 15 minutes later after checking hanna checker. he's been in there about a week and half. is .44 still therapeautic?

Cupramine is 0.4 - 0.5 ppm for therapeautic.

I will note that @HotRocks (I think it was him) recently had a velvet strain survive 1.75ppm CopperPower, which I am not sure what is the equivilant for Cupramine's scale.

While you are here... Do you think that velvet discovery would change that range?
Honestly it probably could.

@ngoodermuth uses cupramine much more than I do. So I'd go with her recommendations.

Plus, I just had a LFS experience active velvet at .7ppm. but the LFS is much different than what we do as hobbyists. They are constantly adding/removing livestock and don't have the option of completely sterilizing systems like we do between batches.

yeah, i would think lfs would have major vapor contamination or random splashes.

thank you!!
