Got my tank plumbed and tested, moving on to the question of lighting. This tank is mostly going to be about the Dwarf Lion that I'm putting in it, but I will likely do some LPS and softies as well. No clams or anything high light. Dimensions are 24x24x18

So in my research, I've turned up the AI, Kessil and EcoTech stuff for the most part.

Would something like the A160 or AI Prime be enough light? Or would I need a Hydra 26/A360? I have a Reefkeeper Lite that I believe I can use to control the Kessil, so the extra price there doesn't bother me. The Radions are largely unknown to me.

I've seen some people say the smaller lights are fine for a 2ft cube as long as it's not super high light stuff. I've also read threads full of people saying that it's not nearly enough and I need to upgrade. So I guess I'm going to see what this thread ends deciding.

For a 24x24 i'd opt for the Kessil A360. It'll cover a 24x24 area perfectly.

I would go with 1 of the prime or a160s. You can always add another a few months down the road if the light intensity is not enough or you are getting too many shadows
