The tank made by Leemar (I heard they run out of business).
The sump from Trigger System (emmerald version)

If you have the 36 footprint then the 26 will be perfect choice. You will have a little space for dosing containers and return pump (if you plumped outside like me)

Very nice. I may have to go with the 34 sump though as the 26 won't fit my Lifereef skimmer. I plan on building two separate side cabinets in addition to the stand using 3/4" plywood. One for the ATO and dosing containers and one for the Apex and all the electronics. Now I'm just on the fence as to whether I'm gonna go ATS or refugium.

The rest of my pictures were daytime/normal lighting shots.

I don't know if acros really "eat" Reefroids or not (they do show feeding responses), but it does help raising the nutrients for sure.
Beside that I find out the Reefroids's particles are very very fine so if acros do catch food by their polyps (theory?!) , the Reefroid's particles will fit their "mount".

I do not cease to marvel at this beauty.

My skimmer turn off around 3pm to 1am. I run it at night to generate more oxygen when the lights are off.
Whenever I notice there is too much algae, I run it 24/7.

I use Instant Ocean, but I bought a bucket of ESV salt because I don't pike the residual left over every time I do water change.
I keep my calcium >400ppm and alk from 7dkh-9dkh.

That would be a dangerous misunderstanding. If the Alk swings like that, acros sure suffered! [emoji1]
I keep my alk below 9dkh but higher 7dkh. At this moment, I test for alk every couple weeks, if the number drop below 8dkh, I increase the dosing a little bit (+ 10 mil/day). If the number get higher than the last time I test, I decrease the dosing - 5mil/day.
Using this method, plus the grow rate in my tank pretty much stable, in the past 6~8 months I keep the dosing at 65~75 mil/day, and every time I test for alk, it's very close to 8dkh.

If keeping a couple of clownfish in a 10 gallons doesn't count as "reef keeping", then this is my first reef tank.
I only have less than 4 years experience keeping a "reef" tank, and I love sps right at the beginning.
In the past 4 years, I read read read a lot about reef keeping. Honestly, I have read almost all articles, methods that other fellows post on this forum and reefcental forum. Still, I couldn't keep sps alive! Honestly, there was a time when I think that my tank has been cursed! Or more realistically, I think the previous owner did something with the tank, rocks (yes, I didn't know that I need to treat the rock at that time.) that make nothing possible to thrive. My tank was a joke to my friends for more than 2 years.
When I started this thread, one of them messaged me said : "So, you're back to the game huh". True is, I have never left!

Secret of keeping acros is a heavy dose of passionate and patience.

It's 3 blue plus + 1 purple plus.

Alk : 8.12 dkh (Hanna checker)
po4: 0.02ppm (hanna phosphorus checker)
Ca: 300ppm (gonna dose to get it back up to 450ppm)
Mg: 1360ppm
