This beauty is ready for a new home:

  • 96"L x 42"W x 26"H
  • 3/4" Glass (Sides/Bottom)
  • All Panes Starphire
  • External Overflow (2 - 2" Bulkheads)
  • Black Silicone
  • Eurobraced (1/2" Glass)
  • Includes Stand (Cinder Block, Steel I-Beams, Plywood, Foam - over $600 new)
  • Pick-Up in Livonia, Michigan 48150
"Miracles" is in parenthesis for this reason: The tank was originally built on-site by Miracles in a basement, so all the glass work was done by them. After about a year the tank was dismantled and brought to the office (no way to move out in one piece!) then rebuilt. We rebuilt with premium RTV silicone while consulting with Miracles and Reef Savvy to ensure everything was done properly. It came out perfectly, and we ran this aquarium at the office for about a year and a half. We need the room now so it's time for it to go. Tank originally cost over $7,000, selling tank and stand for $2,200.

Yes, sir! Bring a trailer ;)

Bump for Friday night... feel free to make offers on this beauty! However offers under four figures will be smiled upon and ignored.

Thanks!

People just arent buying tanks of this size like they used to. Ive been trying to get rid of my 265 for over a year and barely even a eye has been batted at it. And have a couple friends with 3 to 400 gallon tanks at stupid low prices just cant move em. Maybe tax returns will bring in some buyers this year.

Many people just don't have the funds for the whole deal cost of a 450 gallon tank.

Thats true. I just never look at it that way anymore. Ive been in large tanks long enough now where even my left over back up equipment is still suited to operate a tank in the 250-400g range adequately. So its hard for me to remember to keep in mind a ground up cost on a build out like that. Hell you can drop a couple grand just in cabinetry to make it look pretty and not even have gotten to plumbing it yet

There's been a lot of inquiries, but generally not local. Shipping this thing would be 100% on the buyer, and you can imagine cost to ship.

Where are the overflows? Back? side? What did you have lighting the beast? I'm looking to have a 84x36x27 tank built so this is very close to what I'm looking for.

If someone can afford a big tank they just buy the tank themselves. That is the cheapest part of the tank system. An they want the thrill of buying a custom tank for their own unique situation. Living in a Patio home now the biggest tank I will ever be able to get would be a 125 gallon. :)
