48" Euroquatics LED T5 Retrofit

I recently bought some Hamilton Fiji T5 x 4 fixtures. The description listed 16 LEDs, however when they arrived they did not have the LEDs. I called the seller and they said that Hamilton had pulled them on the new lamps because the heat was damaging them.

So, I some wanted to have some LED supplement and to use as sunset/sunrise. So, I was happy when I found these on sale recently and bought 4 to add to the fixture. I don't think I'll need 6x T5 since the tank is only 12" deep.

I have seen other threads talking about these Euroquatic LEDs not working properly due to heat. My questions are:

1. Is anyone else using these on one ballast with T5s in the other sockets (on different ballasts)?

2. Has the manufacturer made any improvement to these lights to address the sagging and other heat related issues?

Thanks for your feedback! I have extra blue + and actinic + bulbs. I will post back after I try them too
