Replaced the stock light and used it for the sump.

Two months so far on my Fluval 13.5

Everything growing and happy. Not bad for 5o bucks.

The Fluval light makes a great sump light.

I notice that afterwards that it could be a bubble tip without bubbles. Have it looks like that all the time? I get one to my old aquaria from a friend. In his aquaria it had bubbles - in mine - looks like yours all the time. It thrive and I had more than 10 after a while - no bubbles. Other people get from my stock - and in some of the aquarium - bubbles - in some no bubbles.

Any thoughts of reason why no bubbles?

It gets fat in the middle. It has never actually had them in the tip.

There have been several threads on this in a few other forums I frequent and the general consensus is that no one really knows. What is interesting is that I have a total of 8 rose bubble tips now (was just seven last week :( ) and most of mine no longer have the bubble tips. Then I moved the 40 breeder into the new 210 and all of a sudden one has bubbles again in massive display. Some will argue it is related to flow, others say it is a sine of duress. I personally have no opinion one way or the other but what I believe is it is related to flow. Higher flow they seem to be elongated at least in my previous tank before the upgrade.

So....I really don't know but one of mine is back to displaying bubblers. Go figure.

A little over a month later and everything is growing. Crazy. This light is doing great.
