4x hydra 32hd problem

Hello to all. Im running 4x new hydra 32hd but i am having some issues with the lights. They disconnect all the time. Dont know why. The disconnects are random. 1 light maybe 2 maybe 3 lights at the same time. They stop following the schedule and stop at specific time and dont ramp up or down or they dont light up or they dont go off. When i see the app they seem connected but i cant control them, they dont respond. I have to unplug and replug again and its all good till the next time they maybe stuck. Anyone with the same problem or know how to fix this??
 
I was about to drop $1400 of the same set up. So I’m curious if anyone has any suggestions.

Are you running them tied together (parent / child) or separately?

Have you tried the standard IT solution of unplugging everything and rebooting from scratch?

Im running all together in the app. And i have tried also 2-2 with the same issue. Yes i have done a reset to all of them but not fixed the problem.

I know yours was the previous version, curious if you had any thoughts.
This has only happened to me once in more than a year using the lights. The odd thing is it was just yesterday. The lights that disconnected were still running the program, but I couldn't control them with the app. They simply wouldn't respond. I had just added some fish and wanted to lower the brightness for acclimation, but only half the tank dimmed.

Unfortunately, since I am using the Hydra 26 HD, I don't think my fix will work here. I think my issue was with the WiFi, but it couldn't hurt to try. First thing I did was to save my settings as a preset. I then went ahead and did a factory reset on ALL of the Hydras, working and non working. Next I set them all up again as though it was the first time. and finally, I installed the preset I had just saved.

So far everything is working as it should, but time will tell if it stays that way.
 
I was having same problem in past when I was running this lights.
There is nothing wrong with your lights.
this lights works with WIFI 2.4 frequency only.
make sure your router is set manually and assign lights to 2.4 frequency.

This was NOT the problem for mine and is certainly NOT the OP's issue. My lights have always been connected to a 2.4gHz network, and the OP's lights DO NOT have WiFi. The 32's have only Bluetooth connectivity.

I had 6 hydras 26hd.
 
Ive had similar issues with my 3 ai32hd lights. It's like the app is working but the lights don't respond. What I found that worked was to force stop the app and restart. This worked all buy one time, then I had to uninstall and reinstall. I hope they push a fix soon.

So its nothing wrong? Is it a bug on the app??? I want to leave home for weekend and i m thinking tha if my light dont go off or not go on??

My lights have always followed the program, they just don't always connect to the app. Have yours stayed on before when they weren't supposed to? This has been an issue recently with Radion G5, but I have not heard that with the Hydra's/.
 
Wait, I just told you a little lie, they did lose their programming once and not turn on. I wish I knew more to help. Not really sure what the root cause is, but I suspect app issues causing this. And full disclaimer, I have not reached out to Ecotech.
 
Shut an email to there’s customers service. You will get response tomorrow and hopefully they can pinpoint the problem.
