Wow that is absolutely gorgeous! Well done!

Being the redneck that I am at heart, I must admit the title was a bit misleading! :D

Love the tank.but I am curious on what the 5 chambers are in the sump/refugium. Can you share details and some pics? Thanks

Gorgeous, I wish I cared as much about coral as I do fish because that's simply stunning.

Wow even the refugium is sparkling clean. How do you keep it so immaculate? What is your maintenence routine and clean up crew?

Thank you, becomes a bit of an addiction just like fish after a while but I also know the tank like the back of my hand, I can walk through the door after work and just look at the tank and tell if something isn't right just by looking at the corals.

I've gotten that way with my cheapo corals and my fish as well. Priceless skill

Every week I siphon out any detritus and that seems to do the trick. I WC weekly (200L), hand scrub the whole tank during WC and siphon detritus like I said earlier :)

I'll be cutting back WC to 140L a week due to building another smaller SPS tank, I've found the corals use up nutrient pretty well due to their size so the full 200L WC weekly is a bit unnecessary

It's a skill you can't teach, it's something that comes with experience in the hobby ;)

Very true. I need to combine my three display tanks to a giant sump or just upgrade to two 10" tanks, then get an Apex to keep sps like that. I love Angela so much that it makes life hard for expensive corals! Lol.

My 180 reef has three flame and a Red Sea regal angel...
