Project:
The project has been in the idea phase for I'd say 2 years or so, first It was going to be a brackish native reef but after thinking I knew there were other places with "shell reefs" so I'm going tropical with this. I will either use blue mussel shells (like the picture) or I'll go with oyster shells. The goal is mainly red macro with some brown and green macros, little coral and lots of inverts. There will be a single blenny so maybe a small cluster of barnacles for the blenny as well. Besides the larger shells, I'm thinking of having maybe 2 other species of smaller shells scattered throughout. How I'll make the "reef" is I'll take rock and glue the shells onto the rock for the reef look.
