Tank has been up about 5-6 months. I upgraded from a 72 gallon. So far I've fried a Neptune Apex (water) battled aptasia (CBB for the win) and dealt with a temperamental calcium reactor. Otherwise, it's gone ok! =)

180g
60g sump
Custom LED
Neptune Apex controller
Super RO XRO skimmer
Reeflo DART return
2LF Carbon reactor
2LF Bio-pellet reactor
Vertex Calcium reactor
2x Vortech mp40

Looks like success to me. If you can't go custom, the standard 180 is the way to go IMO.

I'd say you are doing pretty darn good. I would suggest scraping that coraline off the back wall. I think that look takes away from the beauty of a reef.
Also, please watch out for acro eating flat worms, more people have them than they care to admitt in this hobby. Especially VENDORS.

Do you see AEFW in the pics? Or is that just a general warning? Either way, thanks for the heads up

Looks incredible! If it were me, I'd nuke the one paly sticking up in the middle, though. They are weeds and will take over;

I have a colony of those and like the look of them. They are not taking over as they are kinda in a controlled area. Tank looks good for sure. I'd say looks like alot in 5-6 months but since you upgraded you must have used the stuff from the previous tank.

AEFW? ARe they like the HUNDREDS of tiny white dots all over the back and sides of my tank? MY LFS told me it was Calcium deposits and to not worry my tank is still very new and I sup Ca with tech CB. but when FW was mentioned last night in a conv with a friend I looked more closely and they are all stuck to the glass but MOST have a spiral patters to them...
