5 Stage RODI filter replacement

I have been using this filter kit for the last few years:

Is there a difference? Why is it $15 more? From what I can read, the DI is the same, but the carbon filters have smaller pores on the Matrikx kit. Wouldn't that make the Matrikx kit better?

The second kit has the "Universal" carbon blocks which are used for water treated with choliramine as opposed to straight cholorine.

Both are different types of filters. Either will work great for most water sources. The Universal carbon blocks are what you would need if you have chloramines. Either will work great if you have chlorine treated water.

My water report says they treat the water with sodium hypochlorite (bleach??). So I guess they use chlorine. I'll stick with the cheaper option.
