so im sure many of you all have RODI units. And just wanted to share my experience. First off Air Water and Ice has to be one of if not the best companies to deal with. My fast flush valve had broken / handle was leaking. And since its a "moving part" its technically not under warranty but cheap part regardless. I emailed them and they warrantied it anyways. Great company and great people to deal with.
With that being said. I had always started to get about 1-2 tds even after a short period of time of changing filters. I had run a 5 stage. After doinig much reading I had found adding a second DI stage this fixes the low tds reading. Basically what happens is the DI gets partially exhausted and 1-2 tds would start appearing. By adding the second DI stage. The second DI only needs to remove 1-2 tds. After adding the second DI stage I constantly have 0 TDS. even after it sits for a couple days. So I may suggest adding a second DI stage and you will not be disapointed.
