Thank you Ghostbuster for my new project, has been sitting in the floor since I got it home about a week ago, figured since I couldn't make the stand fit I would start on that first to have a good base to reseal it on, since I finally had a couple hours to spare today I ran by lowes and knocked out the frame work for the stand.

Thinking about keeping the stand super simple with open 3 sides since this tank will be plumbed into the system next to it so the only thing under the stand will be a larger ATO reservoir to support both tanks without having to fill up the ato every few days, future project that i have already aquired the stuff for is to have the RODI water routed to dispense into it, i will not have it automatically fill because I just dont trust a solenoid and float switches from flooding my house! Lol. But I made a small panel to have the hydro 4 outlet mounted, the kessil spectrum controller, and the the circulation pump controllers. Also have a kinda hidden shelf to set the kessil power bricks.
So I believe all I have left is to cut a hole for the drain and return Plumbing, a tiny bit of sanding, throw some water protective sealant/primer on, and then paint!

When you get a chance, I believe you will want to carve out more plywood around the return line bulkhead hole; maybe just a shadow at the edge there and it’s just fine.

Got to knock out maintenance before I go on vacation tomorrow, taking a couple days off afterwards to knock out some more on the new project

Well im glad I took the kalk dosing offline while I was away for the week, knew the ph would be boosted with no one here. Time to knock out some maintenance then get back started on the new addition, I believe everything I need has arrived.

Well after vacation things at work picked up so am having to work 7 day 70+ hour work weeks so haven't had much time to do anything besides my regular tank maintenance on the running systems but last night I found the motivation to paint the stand and move it inside and today finally giving myself a day off, I scrubbed down the new tank removing the old Silicone and got it ready to go for new Silicone! Was planning to take this one slowly but not this slow... will have it sealed tonight and going to let it cure for about a week before water testing it and will go from there.

Well after vacation things at work picked up so am having to work 7 day 70+ hour work weeks so haven't had much time to do anything besides my regular tank maintenance on the running systems but last night I found the motivation to paint the stand and move it inside and today finally giving myself a day off, I scrubbed down the new tank removing the old Silicone and got it ready to go for new Silicone! Was planning to take this one slowly but not this slow... will have it sealed tonight and going to let it cure for about a week before water testing it and will go from there.

You should seal up the bottom holes with a sheet of glass, drill some holes in upper back area for return lines, and a new low-profile overflow box. Scrap off the old blue paint background and repaint it black. That was my plan had I kept the aquarium. Just have fun with it! Looking great

That's a great idea! I was planning on tanking the rest of the blue off the back since I already did it on the overflow side, the overflow box is a good idea so I'm not stuck with a single drain and return.

Only bad thing about the overflow is I just Siliconed the old box back in.

I drilled return lines on my big tank in the garage; pretty easy to get the bulkheads and return line parts and plumbed.

Yeah thats a good thought, just turn the existing two holes into a herbie overflow style and just drill some new returns.

Did a 2 week water test, one week with tap water and the second with a vinegar and water mixture, no leaks or drips so moving forward.
After a good bit of acetone and 5 razor blades I finally removed the blue that is visible from the front and left it over the overflow section. Have an idea for the new back, will post once dried.

Replaced the gaskets on the bulk heads just to be safe, going to run the drain at 1 1/2 inch so I don't have to add the new overflow like previously talked about and with a 3/4 inch return should be just fine for a LPS tank, and I only like to run a 3-5x tank turn over through the sump anyways so should be plenty with two 2400 gph circulation Powerheads considering before displacement the "90" gallon tank only actually holds 75 gallons, so after displacement it'll probably be closer to 65-70.
Also ordered a Luna sump to be able to handle the extra water volume, should arrive in a week or so.

Tank is in the house, as far as the back pane, I made a reversible slip panel, one side white to reflect the light since I plan on just running a couple kessil a360we I had laying around, and then black on the other side for pictures or whatever to help contrast the colors in the tank.
