50 gallon predator aquarium questions

Hey everybody so I got a 50 gallon aquarium and I really would like to have a marine reef community aquarium but I don’t really know what I need to choose should I go with dry sand and rock or live sand and live rock so I would like to know your opinion on that also what equipment do I need and some recommendations for fish,inverts and corals

Are you planning a predator tank or reef tank? Corasl don't usually do well with predators.

99% of predator fish will not work in a tank that size and the ones that will last more then a month or two will eat your corals which will prevent you from having a reef tank. Also 90% of predator fish do not like the amount of water flow needed for a tank with corals.
