50 gallon reef aquarium restocking

A lot of the original fish that I had in my 50 gallon aquarium have died recently and I am left with one chromis, one cardinal and one purple tang and am not sure how to proceed. Should I reintroduce them or will the tang just badger them to death?

A 50 gallon is really too small for a tang, so I would find a new home for it. Once you are ready, I would just reintroduce the chromis and cardinal and continue to restock from there.
If you don’t mind sharing, what happened to the fish?

The other fish just stopped eating and one had trouble pooping.
