50 gallon sump question

I found a 50 gallon sump on Craigslist for a good price, I want to add a 7 inch filter sock holder somehow and I have no clue how if I got this sump, if someone could tell me if this is a good idea and if adding a 7 inch filter sock holder somehow is possible and if so can provide a link to supplies to get for it. Thanks!

Buy one of those sock holders online. They are cheap. $15-$20.
Its going to cost you more for diy.

Do I have to screw it in or is there like a hang on to the sump type of sock holder? I don't have a clue when it comes to DIY projects lol
