Just thought I’d share a light I found, it’s an Aquaknight, for $50 you honestly cannot go wrong it’s awesome for what it is. Here’s the link to where I got it https://m.aliexpress.com/item/40003...er_id=7e90d979c1854efbb1d932ff67c3b5fc&is_c=Y

I picked up a similar light from Aliexpress and it took months to get here and ended up dying after about a week. Luckily, I was actually able to get a refund and am now looking into getting a better light system. Luckily, the tank is still cycling so nothing died. Looking at getting this one:
• Best of luck on your light! Hope it's got high enough PAR for some killer corals!

That light, how 's it performing? What size tank? Thanks!

I have a 20 gallon high tank, picked up the 24-36" version of the light. I haven't picked up the powerheads that tie into it yet, but assembly and programming the light is extremely easy. I plan on renting a PAR meter later this week, but it looks very bright and has a mild shimmer that I was looking for. This is about 65% brightness and it has very useful 10 minute feeding/cleaning settings with different intensities as well. I appreciate that you can set weather percentages and have randomized "rolling clouds" or so. That way it breaks up the intensity for coral growth.
TLDR: looks nice, has automated 24 hour cycle, easy to adjust, unknown PAR at the moment, but definitely looks bright enough to grow corals. Will investigate further.

Looks like a good deal but I'd want to know how it lasts long term. I haven't seen a fixture yet where the LEDs fail but I have seen fixtures where the lenses discolor after a couple years, drivers fail in short order and replacing them is difficult or impossible and the automatinc timers reset themselves or fail altogether or the wifi functions stop communicating with interface devices.
