I am just curious as to where people who actually have this piece have it placed in there tank and it would be really helpful if you could include tank size lighting and flow as well. I recently bought a piece and trying to find a good place for it.

Medium light and high flow was the best coloration for me. I had it in 2 different set-ups with totally different light flow so I won't post all the details. The best coloration was about 8" below a 6x39w T5 fixture and constant random flow.

I have a 6 bulb T5 and I have a 85 gallon bowfront with 2 Mp40's and it is placed about 1/4 down in the tank in the center. Honestly it gets high light and flow and is very happy there.

medium light and high flow also. I had my piece from a guy that bleached out his tank because of biopellets and I got some of thecolor back in a month

This coral can be finicky sometimes but for the most part is hardy. It likes clean water, high flow and medium light. Under too much light it tends to bleach. The bigger it grows the more flow it needs. One of only 2 successfully aquacultured by hobbyists in the US. The other being the Ultimate efflo.
