Hello all. Excited to be here among fellow saltwater enthusiasts. I built my 500 Gallon tank a year and a half ago and it has been an undertaking, to say the least. I designed the tank, the whole filtration system and completed all the woodwork myself. It took many many months of planning and 18 guys to carry the glass tank in to the house. I have learned so much along the way and have lost many coral and fish but am now finally seeing the amazing results from all my hard work. I also have a 150 Gallon fish only tank that is still under construction, hope to finish that within the next few months. I will also add a huge Thanks for my amazing woman that helps me along the way, even to type this introduction up! hopefully soon I will be able to posts pics of the tank-once I figure out how to work this site

if it were that would be one Sick design! . Wood Work looks Great. Cant wait to get some up close photos.!

also some Detailed info on your Whole system! ill be waiting!

Sweet an upsidedown tank supported by a gravity well. I hope you got a patent. LOL! I like the wood working and the stain color. What are the demensions on the tank?

It is 11 ft long x 2.5 ft tall x 31 inches deep. Would have like for it to be deeper but it would not have fit through the door.

When details are asked for on this site, what exactly is the typical response? What all wants to b known? What type coral? Fish? Types of pumps? Calcium reactor Brand? If I gave details I could be typing all day.... Lol..... What do u all want to know? I will definitely b posting some close up pics. Can only do that from my home pc, won't let me from phone app.. :-;

Yes to all of the above +1

That's why I suggested you start a build thread, that way people can follow along with you, and you can post everything from beginning to the (never) end.

Ok. Will do! THAT is going to be fun! Ill start the thread tonight in the large tank forum. Enjoy!
