Well, I need a new light for my 90 cube and don't know what to get. Obviously I want to get the most I can for my money but can't really go over the 500-550 mark. I use a ac jr for a controller for reference. Thanks for any input.

I'm not big into the DIY stuff. I would love to get an AI but I would need two of them right? Last thing is that I don't want to have to buy another controller to dim the lights.

just saw the radion in person and was blown away. Acans look like completely different beasts.. but that's the 500 +200.... I'm waiting for the kessil a350 to be released.. website says April.

Anyone have any more ideas for the budget? I'd love the Radions but am really trying to stay within budget.

you should actually buy my 36" fixture made by Sunbrite Lighting for $350 +S/h

I just put on an EVO 150 over 1/3 of my 180 gallon. I find it has plenty of coverage for the 2' x 2' x 2' area. It probably could cover even more if I raised it a little. I like it has dimmable for both blue & white, so it's worth considering that fixture for bang for buck, or the 200W version might be the right size for your cube. There are multiple options here, plus with new fixtures coming out practically every week it's hard to keep up with them all. lol!

I would go with the Apollo Dimmable as it can be controlled by your AC Jr w VDM. Their quality far surpasses those other Chinese Fixtures. If you DIY or choose a Custom Build you will have the latest LEDs that will blow away the Radion than can also be controller by the AC Jr.
