Hi, I saw that you had cleaned your spaghetti stone sour, and the acid. I searched for info cleaned of mine, could you tone Detailed cleaning?
The order? clear water? Vinegar ? Acid? High pressure?
And what kind of acid you used? The proportion? Finally all.

yea thats the order but you need baking soda in the end to break down all the acid
i think in english its muritic acid or somthing like this u can fined tons of posts about this
i used clear acid without water but never add water to acid but u can add acid to water
looking back im not sure it is necessary to go true it at all ....

hi yea i got some updates
i got an ozonizer and im working with it for the last month and its amazing!
the water is clear and no ich what so ever


thats the reactor i converted bauble magus reactor to a ozone reactor

also had some problems with my ph swings it got to low and i started losing some corals before i found that my ph was around 7.5 and maybe lower
my weipro prob i guess i need to see whats up with it i just checked it a few months ago

also i had one of my lights transformer suddenly burned

and my main pump started making crazy noises i needed to fix it as well

but beside this here r some updates (sorry about the quality my phone i didnt have money to change it i spend it all on the fish tank .. )

got some updates some good and some not so....

got a baby porcupine puffer im in love with this tiny guy

bad news all my sps r bein eaten by somthing and i have no idea what it is' every thing that go in my thank is being dipped by buyer and i used flat worm exit and i see nothing
all my parameters r good salinity 1025 ph 8.1 phos 0 nitrate 0 calcium 390 mag 1230
no idea whats wrong on the top they r growing and in some parts just bleaching and i see nothing on them but i can see that its like flat worm marks

by far is more reef safe then most of my "reef safe fish" i think as long as u get them small and after your snails/shrimp they will be 100% reef safe

this time i almost decided that it is to much and im selling my tank and i had enough of this hobby
done every thing by the book , the only thing i can think is maybe the salinity was too low it was 1014 (drip from 1024 on a course of an hour ) but never before i had problems acclimating tangs to low salinity even lower than this
it should even be better for them making it easy on their systems dealing with the salt
the quarantine was running with 50% tank water, no copper , no ammonia, during the acclimating i was dripping water slowly and had an air stone
the fish was eating at the store and looked good
no idea what append the only thing i can think of is the low salinity
by the next morning the fish was dead
since then i decided that im focusing on corals and for now im not getting any more fish

Sometimes when you add an air stone, the PH can rise to quickly and harm the fish. Your also dealing with a very fragile fish that had to travel a long way. Very few Achilles tangs live in captivity.

Salinity should be no less than 1.021 for fish and 1.023 with coral. Russian roulette only works so many times. Good luck and by the way, very nice build.
